3 Muslim youth attack RSS workers returning home after Dusshera rally [ Kerala, India ]

On October 22, 3 Muslim youth attacked RSS workers while they were returning home after attending a Dusshera rally in Karunagapalliin the Kollam district of Kerala.

As per a media report, 26-year-old Naufal, a resident of Karunagapally Thazhava; 24-year-old Yasim of Kulasekharapuram Siya Mansil and 23-year-old Ajmal, attacked Akshay Kumar, Madhun Lal, and Kiran, all residents of the Punnamkulam town in the Thrissur district of Kerala.

According to the police, the attackers are members of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) which is the political wing of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) have a criminal history.

Naufal, Yasim, and Ajmal attacked RSS workers as they got off a  bus at Puthiyakavu on their way home.

Akshay Kumar was seriously hurt in the incident and was sent to Karunagappally Taluk Hospital. His arm was smashed by SDPI thugs. Him and the other witnesses provided statements to the police, which led to the filing of a complaint against the SDPI members.

Witness accounts and circumstantial evidence were utilised to identify the suspects, according to the police, who also stated that Naufal and Ajmal are charged in many criminal offences.

The police also disclosed that because the attackers had previously fled to Goa and Karnataka after committing several crimes, police units were stationed at various train stations and bus stops to ensure that they did not have the opportunity to leave.
