The genocidal crimes and exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits sent Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers into peals of laughter. He denied it by saying that all of it were ‘lies’. By this ironic stance, the filthy politician exposed his dark side, in broad day light in front of the nation.

He disgraced the movie and the unspeakable and inhumane crimes it tells us about. “They are saying make ‘The Kashmir Files’ tax-free in the national capital. Well, put it on YouTube it will be free. Everyone will be able to see it in a day. Where is the need to make it tax-free,” he said, which was applauded by thumping desks and giggles of the Delhi Assembly.

The Kashmir Files, released on    portrays the screams of the Hindus of Kashmir, which never reached the ears of the world because of the agenda of media and double-faced politicians.

Kejriwal who is touched by every film that he sees and makes it tax-free irrespective of scouring through the reality, insulted the other party to make the Kashmir Files tax-free.

Netizens questioned why it was wrong for the promotion of the film when the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi had made movies like ‘83’, ‘Nil Battey Sannata’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Neerja’ and ‘Hindi Medium’ tax free.  They said that this speech had “exposed Kejriwal’s hypocrisy”. ‘#KejriwalExposed” trended after the video of the speech was out.

Reportedly, when the director of the movie, Vivek Agnihotri was contacted, he took a deep breath and said, “Did he (Arvind Kejriwal) really say that? Am I really supposed to react to something so absurd? Would he ask Steven Spielberg to upload Schindler’s List on You Tube? Not that I am comparing my small film to Schindler’s list. Just asking.”

“Two crore people have seen The Kashmir Files already. They are responding with deep pure emotions. I would rather concentrate on those two-crore people than the 20 politicians who are professional abusers.  I have just returned from Bhopal where the Chief Minister has agreed to give me all provisions to open a genocide museum. This would be the ultimate monument to peace, right from the time of Adi Shankaracharya to   the present day. We need to think about the way ahead and not try to stop those who are doing so,” he added.

The Kashmir Files has been made tax-free by many states, such as, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant had praised the film for what he termed a ‘realistic portrayal.’ He had even run down on the Congress government and said that the successive Congress governments had never cared for the welfare of the Kashmiri Hindus.
