Converted Hindu girl abandoned by husband [ Sindh, Pakistan ]

6 years-ago, a Hindu girl named Chanda was converted to Islam and renamed as Noor Fatima. She was then married to a Muslim man named Junaid Ghori from Shahdadpur, Sanghar district, Sindh province of Pakistan.  It is not known if the marriage was forced, or Chanda was pressurized in any way. However, it must be kept in mind that the Hindu girls are very commonly abducted and forcefully converted to be married to Muslim men.

Just after one year of the nikah, Chanda was subjected to domestic abuse and violence by Junaid. He wanted to marry another Muslim girl. So after divorcing Noor, he threw her out of the house in the middle of the night. She wasn’t even allowed to take her daughter with her, and was abandoned when she was 6 months pregnant.

Chanda, now Noor Fatima, was robbed of her dignity and now was  left alone and helpless, pregnant and homeless.

In a video that surfaced on social media, she can be heard saying, hat her husband started misbehaving with her because he was provoked by his family; now he has divorced her as he is settled with another girl.

In another video, the girl says that her parents have cut off all relations with her and now she has no one to turn to. She is seen holding her newborn child in her lap. She says she converted to Islam to marry Junaid and also because she “loved the deen”, but now she has been abandoned despite putting up with all sorts of abuse from her husband and in-laws. She repeatedly asks her ex-husband to provide for her and her children.
