The Rajasthan government has suspended two teachers, Mirza Mujahid and Firoz Khan, from a government school in Kota district over allegations of their involvement in religious conversion and connections to banned terror outfits. Another teacher is currently under investigation in connection with these claims, as stated by Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar.

The suspension orders were issued on Thursday night after the Education Minister received a memorandum from Sarva Hindu Samaj, Sangod, accusing the teachers of engaging in activities related to love jihad and religious conversion since 2019. The memorandum also claimed that the teachers had connections to banned outfits and alleged links to Pakistani groups.

The document further stated that an FIR had been previously registered at Sangod police station regarding these allegations, but no action was taken. It also mentioned an abduction case involving a Hindu girl who was recorded as Muslim in school records.

In a video statement issued on Friday, Minister Dilawar addressed the situation, revealing that strict action has been initiated against the teachers in question. He mentioned a conspiracy of religious conversion and love jihad taking place in a senior secondary school in Khajuri Odpur village, Sangod panchayat samiti, Kota district.

Dilawar stated, “A conspiracy of religious conversion and ‘love jihad’ is happening there, Hindu girls are being forced to offer namaz – this has come to our notice.” He confirmed the suspension of Mirza Mujahid and Firoz Khan and mentioned an ongoing investigation into another teacher named Shabana.

The Education Minister emphasized that if the teachers are found guilty of the alleged acts, they will be terminated from their jobs. The teachers have been sent to Bikaner, and further actions will be taken after a detailed investigation. Dilawar affirmed his commitment to taking strict measures against those involved in such activities, highlighting the seriousness with which the government views these allegations.
