Executive Officer uses temple pond as personal swimming pool [ Telangana, India ]

An Executive Officer, Venu of Neelakanteshwara temple, also known as Dakshina Kashi, located in Nizamabad, Telangana used the temple’s pond as his personal swimming pool. He continued even after the temple’s Pandits would ask him not to do so.

A video of EO, Venu has surfaced on social media where it is shown that he is using the sacred pond as a swimming pool disregarding the sanctity while a ritual was underway. It is worth noting that EO Venu is responsible for overseeing the operations of four temples in the vicinity.

This is a fine example that the temple of the people should be in the hand of the people only, otherwise, every now and then, someone would step in to make new rules and name themselves as the ‘Boss’.
