A distressing incident has rocked Guwahati, with revelations of a young Hindu girl allegedly drugged and raped at a birthday party in a local lodge. The accused, identified as Parvez Ansari from Meghalaya, is currently at large, evading arrest.

According to reports, the victim was lured to the Rajdhani Lodge in Guwahati under the guise of attending a birthday celebration. However, upon arrival, she was purportedly drugged, confined to a room, and subjected to sexual assault by the accused, Parvez Ansari.

Despite her familiarity with Parvez, the victim found herself in a dire situation, prompting her to file a complaint at the All Women Police Station in Guwahati’s Panbazar.
