A distressing case of Love Jihad emerges from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where Alfez Khan stands accused of coercing a Hindu girl into converting to Islam under the guise of friendship and marriage. The victim, a student at Gujarati College in the Chhoti Gwaltoli area, faced threats and pressure from Khan to embrace Islam, culminating in a harrowing ordeal.

According to reports, Khan, hailing from Double Chowki Dewas, befriended the girl seven months ago and gradually began pressuring her for religious conversion. Promising to marry her only if she converted to Islam, Khan attempted to lure the victim with promises of financial stability and a secure future. Despite initially agreeing to his marriage proposal, the victim stood firm in her refusal to convert.

As tensions escalated, Khan resorted to threats, warning the victim of dire consequences if she persisted in rejecting his demands. The victim, distressed by Khan’s coercive tactics, sought refuge with her family, who promptly sought assistance from Hindu organizations and lodged a complaint with the Chhoti Gwaltoli Police.

On April 26th, Khan intensified his pressure on the victim at the college gate, reiterating his demands for her conversion to Islam. When met with continued refusal, Khan threatened the victim with violence, prompting her to seek immediate assistance from her parents and Hindu organizations. In response to the complaint, law enforcement authorities swiftly apprehended Khan, taking necessary action to address the case of Love Jihad.

The incident underscores the pervasive threat posed by Love Jihad, highlighting the vulnerability of individuals targeted by coercive tactics aimed at religious conversion.
