Hindu guru Dr. Aniket Shastri Maharaj Attacked by Muslim Mob [Nashik, Maharashtra]

Dr. Aniket Shastri Maharaj, the Chief of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti, Dharma Samaj, faced a terrifying ordeal on April 3rd when he was attacked by a group of 900 to 1,000 religious fanatics near the Nashik highway around 1 a.m. The assailants targeted his car, shattering its windows. Recalling the tragic events of 2020 when two Sadhus were brutally attacked and killed in Palghar, Maharaj voiced his concerns that this recent assault resembled that horrific massacre.

The attackers not only targeted Maharaj’s car but also wreaked havoc on other vehicles passing by, vandalizing them indiscriminately. Maharaj’s vehicle bore the brunt of the aggression, being kicked and struck with sticks. However, through quick thinking and maneuvering, Maharaj and his companions managed to escape the assault by navigating their car through a narrow alleyway.

This incident marks the fourth attack that Maharaj has endured. Previously, unidentified individuals had hurled stones at his Ashram, targeted the cow shed with liquor bottles, and repeatedly pelted his car with stones. In light of these repeated attacks, Maharaj has appealed to the State Government for police protection to ensure his safety and security in the face of escalating threats.
