In a disturbing incident unfolding in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, a Hindu woman has been subjected to abduction, torture, and stabbing by individuals allegedly driven by religious animosity stemming from her son’s interfaith marriage. The victim endured three days of physical assault at the hands of four Islamist youths in Jabalpur before managing to escape.

According to the victim’s harrowing account, she suffered brutal physical violence, including stabbing, during her captivity, which was reportedly sparked by her son’s recent marriage to a Muslim girl. Despite her escape, she and her daughter now face renewed threats of murder and rape from the same assailants, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
