In a troubling incident in Rajasthan’s Churu district, a woman named Bulbul was found dead in a beauty parlour, prompting allegations of abetment to suicide against individuals named Arshad, Wahid, Muzaffar, and Amjad. The circumstances surrounding Bulbul’s death have led to outrage among Hindu advocacy groups, who have called for a “Bandh” in Churu on April 23rd.

Bulbul, a 24-year-old resident of Ward 27, worked at a beauty parlour in Hotel Sun City. On April 20th, she failed to return home from work, prompting her family to search for her. Tragically, Bulbul’s lifeless body was discovered hanging inside the beauty parlour. The police initiated an investigation, while the accused individuals were implicated in abetting her suicide.

According to Bulbul’s family, when they attempted to enter the hotel, Arshad, Wahid, and Muzaffar obstructed them. However, Bulbul’s uncle managed to enter and discovered her body with visible injuries. The family accused the named individuals of being responsible for Bulbul’s death.

The parlour in the hotel has been sealed, and the deceased’s family also mentioned that Bulbul had smashed her phone two days before her death, though the reason remains unknown. The incident has sparked controversy, with Hindu organisations protesting and alleging ‘Love Jihad’. Demonstrations have taken place in the streets of Churu, with protestors demanding justice and questioning the actions of the local administration.

Despite police assurances of action against the perpetrators, the protests have continued, with locals expressing dissatisfaction with the handling of the case by the authorities. The Sarva Hindu Samaj has called for a Churu Bandh on April 23rd, highlighting the gravity of the situation and the community’s demand for justice.
