Hindu Youth attacked by Islamist Mob Attacks [Koppal District, Karnataka]

In the tranquil streets of Shriram Nagar, Gangavati taluk, Koppala district of Karnataka, a disturbing incident unfolded on April 24th, shaking the community to its core. More than 20 Muslim youths launched a violent attack on Sri Kumar Rathod, a Hindu youth, simply for chanting the revered slogan “Jai Shri Ram.” The incident, occurring in broad daylight within a residential area, has ignited fury and heightened tensions in the locality.

Sri Kumar Rathod, displaying bravery in the face of adversity, faced the wrath of the assailants as he voiced the sacred slogan. Despite suffering minor injuries in the assault, Rathod sought medical assistance at Gangavati Taluk Hospital, where his injuries were tended to.

Authorities swiftly responded to the incident, examining CCTV footage to unravel the sequence of events. Shedding light on the ordeal, Rathod recalled, “I uttered ‘Jai Shri Ram’ while serving water to my friend Feroz Khan at the bar, which led to a confrontation.”

SP Yashodha Vantagodi of Koppal reassured, “While investigations are underway based on Rathod’s statement and CCTV footage, we are committed to uncovering the truth and taking appropriate action.”

The incident resonates with a recent attack in Bangalore, underscoring a concerning trend of crimes against Hindus perpetrated by Islamist assailants. As the Hindu community grapples with escalating harassment and violence, there is a pressing need for swift justice and enhanced security measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all citizens.
