In a disturbing incident in Rajsamand, Rajasthan, two individuals, identified as Saddam and Sameer Mohammed, were arrested by the police on February 27th for attempting to murder Praveen Singh Sisodia, a Hindu man. The attack, carried out with a deadly knife, was reportedly in response to Sisodia’s interfaith marriage to a Muslim woman.

Praveen Singh Sisodia, a resident of Chandradeep Colony in Kankroli, was brutally assaulted upon his return to Rajsamand after several months of marriage. The attackers, allegedly family members of the Muslim woman, inflicted injuries to his leg with a knife before fleeing the scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police swiftly responded, rushing the victim to R.K. Govt Hospital in Rajsamand. A special team was formed to investigate the matter, resulting in the arrest of Saddam and Sameer Mohammed on February 27th. The duo was produced before a local court and subsequently remanded into custody.
