Leena Manimekalai launches sacrilegious Maa Kaali poster [ Ontario, Canada]

Leena Manimekalai, took blasphemy against Hindu dharma to new heights when she released the poster of her new film, which showed Goddess Kali, smoking on July 2.

The poster shared by Manimekalai showed the actor playing Maa Kaali holding an LGBTQ+ flag and smoking a cigarette. An FIR was filed against her for deliberately hurting Hindu sentiments. As expected, the filmmaker’s response was on expected lines. “These people have nothing to do with faith. Their fuel is hate”, she has been quoted as saying.

“I have nothing to lose. Till the time I live, I wish to live with a voice that speaks what I believe without fear. If the price for that is my life, it can be given,” Manimekalai shamelessly said.

However, it does not end here, Manimekalai’s anti-Hindu sentiment has far deeper reach. She has already come out in support of Teesta Setalvad and Muhammad Zubair. She believes BJP is turning the country into ‘one large prison’. It is evident from her opinions that she belongs to the secular left-liberal cabal.

Insulting Hinduism is not creative, it is horrendous blasphemy. No person would dare to do the same with the other religions, but, it is the Hindus who are tolerant everytime. Hence, their faith is trampled everytime by the lowly likes of Manimekalai.

India’s  High Commission took note of the issue and asked the Canadian authorities to withdraw the screen of the objectionable movie on Maa Kaali. The High Commission in Ottawa issued a press release on the matter. The release stated that they have received complaints from Hindu community leaders about the disrespectful depiction of Hindu Devi on a poster of a film showcased as part of the Under the tent project in Toronto’s Aga Khan Museum.
