In a disturbing revelation from Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, a young Hindu girl fell prey to the deceitful tactics of Afzal Ahmed, leading to a harrowing ordeal of rape and forced conversion to Islam.

According to recent reports, the victim, a minor girl from Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, was ensnared by Afzal Ahmed’s cunning facade approximately four years ago. Under the false guise of a Hindu named Rahul, Afzal initiated a relationship with the unsuspecting girl, who was underage at the time. What began as an innocent connection soon turned into a nightmare for the victim as Afzal exploited her vulnerability for his nefarious intentions.

The situation took a sinister turn on November 27th of the previous year when the victim, visiting Afzal’s residence, uncovered his true identity. Shockingly, Afzal, along with his brother Iqrar Ahmed, allegedly subjected the victim to captivity and coercion. They forcibly confined her to a room and pressured her into marriage with Afzal while demanding her conversion to Islam.

The victim, bravely speaking out against the injustice she endured, filed a complaint against Afzal, Iqrar, and their parents under the Uttarakhand Freedom of Religion Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Authorities have swiftly initiated actions, including raids to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice for the victim.
