Muslim children throw toilet cleaner at the Khatu Sham Yatra [ Punjab, India ]

On 23rd November, a group of Muslim children harassed the Hindu devotees  in the Khatu Sham Yatra in the Patiala district of Punjab’s Nabha area by throwing toilet cleaner on the Yatra. The Hindu devotees acquired a severe allergy as a result of the youngsters throwing toilet cleaner at them.

On the occasion of Khatu Sham Janmotsav, the Hindu community in Nabha reportedly organised a Shobha Yatra. Hundreds of Hindus gathered in Nabha to commemorate the event and take part in the demonstration.

However, as the protest approached the Sadar Bazar region, several of the ladies taking part in it were harassed by Muslim youngsters. The women suffered from rashes and allergies as a result of the youngsters from a neighbouring Muslim community member’s store gathering toilet cleaner from the adjoining lavatory and throwing it at them.

“The rally was peacefully passing through the Sadar Bazar area. Some children belonging to the Muslim community threw toilet cleaner at the women from the rally. The children threw the cleaner from a shop that belonged to a Muslim individual. The children were supposedly his relatives. The women have developed severe allergies. No rumors should be spread. Probe underway in this case,” the SHO stated.

Additionally, he stated that in the event that something similar occurs, the Police must be notified right once. He went on, “I ask that people keep the peace and refrain from spreading any rumours in this case.”
