In a shocking revelation, condoms, gutkha, and stones were discovered in samosas supplied to a major automobile company based in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, leading to a case being filed against five individuals.

The accused have been identified as Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, Mazhar Shaikh, Firoz Shaikh, and Vicky Shaikh, according to police sources.

The investigation revealed that two workers from a subcontracting firm, tasked with supplying the samosas, along with three partners from another firm, whose contract was previously canceled due to snack adulteration, were involved in the scandal.

Allegedly, the three partners conspired to tarnish the reputation of the firm that received the fresh contract by planting the two workers to adulterate the snacks.

Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was responsible for providing snacks to the automobile company’s canteen, and it subcontracted the samosa supply to Manohar Enterprise.

During the inquiry, it was discovered that two workers from Manohar Enterprise, Firoz Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh, had allegedly inserted condoms, gutkha, and stones into the samosas.

Further questioning revealed that employees from SRA Enterprises, whose contract was previously terminated for adulteration, sent their workers to Manohar Enterprises to sabotage the food supply and defame the latter.

The three partners of SRA Enterprises, implicated in the adulteration scandal, were removed from the contract earlier when a first aid bandage was found in the samosa supplied to the automobile company.

A case has been registered under various sections of the law, including causing harm by poison and criminal conspiracy, against the accused individuals. The investigation is ongoing to uncover the full extent of the adulteration scheme and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
