One more Love Jihad Tragedy; Hindu Girl Murdered [Bhubaneswar, Odisha]

In a tragic case of Love Jihad in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, a Hindu girl named Bhagya Dakua (19) was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, Raju Sheikh. Raju, hailing from Murshidabad district in West Bengal, had ensnared Bhagya in a relationship while residing in the Sisupalgarh area of Bhubaneswar.

The relationship between Raju and Bhagya culminated in them eloping and cohabiting in a rented house in Sisupalgarh. However, Bhagya’s life came to a tragic end when her lifeless body was discovered on the banks of the Daya river under Dhauli Police Station. The authorities swiftly identified the victim and initiated an investigation.

Within a span of 24 hours, the police apprehended Raju Sheikh and two of his associates, all residents of Murshidabad district. Bhagya’s father, Hina Dakua, expressed relief at the arrest, stating that his daughter had been lured away three months prior, only for her life to be ruthlessly taken and her body discarded in the river.

IC Kishore Nayak of Dhauli Police Station confirmed the detention of the suspects and the recovery of the victim’s body and two motorcycles from the crime scene. The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement delves deeper into unraveling the circumstances surrounding Bhagya’s tragic demise.
