Pragya Debnath groomed to become Jamat-ul-mujahideen [ West Bengal, India ]

In 2016, a Hindu girl named Pragya Debnath went missing from home. She was a resident of Dhanekhali under Hooghly district of West Bengal. In July, 2020 she was arrested in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She was an active member of Neo-JMB ( Jamat-ul-mujahideen Bangladesh).

She was converted to Islam, said Dhaka police.

Her new name is Ayesha Jannat Mohona. She married a Jihadi of Neo-JMB. She was the head of the women wing of Neo-JMB.

Pragya’s mother said that she was a student of Sanskrit, studying 3rd year in Dhanekhali College. In 2016, she went missing from home. Later she was found in Bangladesh. She entered Bangladesh illegally through international border. There she got married with a Neo-JMB member.

During interrogation, she revealed that she was converted into Islam in 2009. Since then she was following Islam. Then she went to Bangladesh to do jihad.

It must be noted that Neo-JMB is a Jihadi group directly inspired by ISIS and follows their ideology.
