SreeKrishna College, Guruvayur, released their Union magazine featuring sacrilegious images of Hindu Dharma. The cover page depicts a four-armed half-naked Bhagwan-like figure, with Nazi or Hitler’s swastika put on the hands of a sanyasi. Further this magazine promotes distorted Hindu ideals. This is absolute distortion of the actual Guruvayurappan sacred idol.

Guruvayurappan’s sacred idol is installed in the famous temple also has four arms. One has the conch (Panchajanya), another has a discus Sudarshana Chakra, the third one has the mace (Kaumodaki), and the fourth holds a lotus with a basil garland.

As per a media report, Students’ Federation of India (SFI), the student wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) is behind this act.

Pasoma Republic is the name of the magazine. Pashu refers to a cow, while Ma refers to a mother. Its editors meticulously reproduced Guruvayur shrine, and Bharatiya warriors were shown in a negatively twisted manner.
