In a distressing incident, the Sri Jagannath temple in Rauzan, Chattagram, became the target of unknown miscreants on the night of April 23rd. The temple, located in the Noyapara locality, fell victim to theft and vandalism, leaving the local Hindu community shaken.

The morning after the attack, local Hindus were dismayed to discover that the temple gate had been forcibly opened, and the interior ransacked. The perpetrators had stolen everything of value, including the contents of the donation box and the precious ornaments adorning the Vigraha.

Adding insult to injury, the miscreants also vandalized various items within the temple premises, compounding the desecration of this sacred space.

Upon receiving reports of the incident, the authorities were promptly notified, and the police initiated an investigation into the matter. However, as of now, no suspects have been identified or apprehended, leaving the community anxious and seeking justice for the violation of their religious sanctuary.
